Many believe that personal news is a harmless form of media because people are less likely to believe it. The writers pick subjects to rant or somethings that interests viewers. Wheras the news is a corporate company and try to get the facts correct so they dont look like a fool if somebody proves them wrong. News should not be left for just the professionals because sometimes they cover up the truth to protect the people. On the other hand, if you are writing about it personally you wont be afraid to put it all out there. I think the professionals who write the news definately have a bias but try not to. Everybody has their own opinion but they try to keep theirs seeming neutral to the viewers so they can make their own opinion without being persuaded.
